New 10 week Term Begins

 SATURDAY 26th January 2008 !

Theatre Found began their Drama Classes for children and adults in January 2007, since then the youngsters have been involved in devising their own work , learning through play and communication with their peers. In June they performed at the West End Festival and the Tramway Hidden Gardens their versions of three Greek Myths. We hope to be able to give our students the opportunity to perform if they wish or take on other very important roles if they prefer to be behind the scenes. This is only one aspect of what our classes can offer, as first and foremost is the opportunity to play and have fun.

Imagination is our greatest resource and is the corner stone of our methodology. 

We believe that drama is beneficial in many aspects of life, as it helps to build confidence , self esteem and self awarness.

Students may also partake in  LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) and C.A.PE(Communication and performance examinations Scotland) exams in acting, the speaking of verse and prose, improvisation and mime.

We have 100% pass rate with 25% honours grade!

Our classes are informal  as we believe that confidence comes from feeling comfortable with working at your own pace .

There is no audition selection process as we are dedicated to open acsess to the arts.

Our adult classes are offered to anyone who wishes to join.  In our classes at present are both beginners and proffesional actors wishing to keep on top of their  skills with regular monologue and improvisation practice, whilst learning new ones. We find this beneficail to the 'vibe' of the class as after all we learn from each other!

Saturday classes at Langside Halls, Shawlands:

                                  5-10yrs  -14:30-16:30

Tuesday Classes at St.Alberts , Pollokshields:

                                                         11-15years 18:30-20:30

 Monday Classes at St.Alberts , Pollokshields:

                                 Adults from 16years up - 7-9pm

Classes cost £55 per 10 week term.

All tutors have an Enhanced Disclosure Scotland Certificate.
